Steve Kramer, a political consultant for hire, admitted to deploying AI-powered robocalls impersonating President Joe Biden to influence local primary elections.
Key Details:
The AI-powered robocall imitated the president’s voice to discourage residents from voting in New Hampshire’s Democratic presidential primary.
Kramer explained: “I sent an automated call to 5,000 residents most likely to vote for Democrats. Using easy-to-use online technology, I created an automated version of President Joe Biden’s voice.”
Kramer emphasized that more enforcement is required to prevent individuals from doing this: “With a mere $500 investment, anyone could replicate” a public figure’s voice to push an agenda.
Representative Dean Philip’s campaign finance reports show he paid Kramer over $250,000 when the robocalls were deployed in January.
Philip’s team denies the allegations, claiming they hired Kramer for ballot access in New York and Pennsylvania to collect thousands of signatures from voters.

Reddit signed a licensing agreement with Alphabet-owned Google worth $60 million annually to provide user-generated content for Gemini training.
The deal underscores a strategic pivot in Reddit’s revenue model amid aggressive competition for advertising dollars from TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
As Reddit prepares for a high-profile stock market launch, it filed IPO prospects with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, revealing: “In January 2024, we entered into certain data licensing agreements with an aggregate contract value of $203 million.”
Reddit believes the company’s future is in data licensing agreements with businesses training AI models. Reddit can provide over 1 billion posts and 16 billion comments.
