Key Details:
CAA developed the “CAA Vault” to create digital doubles for artists. The “CAA Vault” leverages AI technology to capture detailed scans of an artist’s body, face, movements, and voice.
Then, these scans are used to develop high-fidelity replicas for various media productions like reshooting, dubbing, and stunt double superimposing.
The Veritone partnership ensures secure storage and authorized access to the client’s data to provide consent, credit, and compensation rights for AI likeness.

At Microsoft Build 2024, the company announced a series of upgrades to Azure AI Studio and Copilot Studio, enabling developers to build better generative AI-powered apps.
Key Details:
Azure AI Studio is a toolset within Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service that allows customers to combine AI models like OpenAI’s GPT-4o with their data to build chat assistants.
Copilot Studio provides tools to connect Copilot for Microsoft 365 (i.e., the AI-powered Copilot in apps like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) to third-party data.
Azure AI Studio will soon allow developers to build GenAI apps using a pay-as-you-go inference Application Programming Interface (API). APIs are the messengers between your application and the AI model.
Copilot Studio will soon have Copilot agents that “independently orchestrate tasks tailored to specific roles and functions.”
Why It’s Important:
Copilot agents will utilize memory and knowledge to navigate your various business workflows.
Charles Lamanna, CVP of Business Applications and Platforms at Microsoft, explained: “Developers provide their copilot agents with a defined task, equip it with the necessary knowledge and actions, and then Copilot Studio creates dynamic workflows to automate tasks.”

Game Theory is a branch of applied mathematics that measures how we make decisions in situations where our choices impact each other’s outcomes.
Imagine playing a game called “Spy vs. Spy” with your friend. The goal is to develop cryptic messages with clues your friend must decode. The challenge is to agree on the meaning of the cryptic messages.
The MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) developed “Consensus Game,” an AI framework that tries to generate sentences (i.e., offer clues) and then evaluate those sentences (i.e., guess the cryptic message).
CSAIL researchers discovered this AI framework improved AI’s ability to generate correct and coherent answers in reading comprehension, solving math problems, and carrying on conversations.
