Docs features a new capability called “Help Me Create,” which generates polished documents in any preferred style. It can autonomously refine sections and strengthen messages to improve readability.

It’s also capable of cross-app synthesis, pulling relevant context from Drive, Gmail, and Calendar for more personalized documents. For example, drafting a travel itinerary that includes your hotel details, flight information, and rental car reservations.

Sheets features a new capability called “Fill With Gemini,” which instantly structures your data, builds powerful visualizations, and detects relationships between incomplete column pairs to predict remaining values.

It’s also capable of accessing real-time information from Google Search. For example, if you’re applying for college, you may have a school tracker for application details. Instead of manually researching tuition fees and acceptance rates for each school, Gemini can generate column headers and access Google Search to populate data rows with the most up-to-date metrics.

We’ve all been there: the blinking cursor, the blank slide, and the bare spreadsheet. Whether you’re planning a trip, organizing an event, or launching a side hustle, getting started is often the hardest part.

It systematically eliminates one of the biggest productivity killers: context switching! You no longer have to find invoice attachments in Gmail, verify payment deadlines in Calendar, and manually transfer everything into Docs.

Today’s LLMs are essentially statistical tools designed to predict the probability of a sequence of words. For example, when given: “She poured a cup of hot {BLANK}!” LLMs ask themselves, given the words so far, what’s the most likely next word? In this case, it might predict: “{COFFEE}!”

LLMs are great at understanding and generating text. In other words, they can tell you what happens, but they can’t tell you why or how it happens. Basically, they can’t reason about cause and effect. If we throw a tennis ball at a wall, we know the force exerted by the wall will bounce it back.

It’s Newton’s Third Law of Motion: for every action, there’s an equal and opposite reaction. We cultivate this physical intuition by observing how gravity, friction, and collision influence the physical world around us. That’s what LLMs are missing! That’s what AMI Labs strives to fix!
