These high-fidelity digital replicas can be used in reshooting, dubbing, and stunt double superimposing.
CAAās AI roadmap involves democratizing access to the CAA Vault across the acting industry, expanding the creative boundaries of film production studios.

The California Policy Lab at UCLA developed an AI model to predict homelessness using data provided by Los Angeles Countyās Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Key Details:
The CIO collected de-identified data from seven county departments on emergency room visits, criminal justice system engagement, and reliance on public benefit programs like SNAPās food stamps.
L.A.ās Homelessness Prevention Program (HPP) uses the predictive AI model to identify individuals and families at risk of becoming homeless, offering aid for rent, utilities, and basic needs to help them stabilize and remain housed.
Dana Vanderford, associate director at the Department of Health Services (DHS), explained: āWe often meet our clients within days of losing housing. The timing with which we meet people feels critical.ā
Why Itās Important:
In 2023, California hosted over 181,000 homeless individuals, up more than 30% since 2007. A California State Auditor (CSA) report highlighted that California spent $24 billion on homelessness from 2018 to 2023.
The predictive AI model helped HPP serve nearly 800 individuals and families at risk of homelessness, with 86% retaining permanent housing.

š£Cohereās Multilingual Aya Model
Cohere researchers developed Aya, a multilingual generative language AI model that follows instructions in 101 languages, of which over 50% are considered lower-resourced.
Aya was trained on 2.5X more data than previous multilingual AI models, outperforming mT0 and BLOOMZ on most tasks while covering double the number of languages.
Cohere researchers improved Ayaās performance by implementing extensive data weighting (i.e., assigning different importance to different data points) and pruning (i.e., removing redundant information from the training data).
