OpenAI’s initial compensation is $665K with a negotiation delta of 30% when including base salary, bonus, and equity.
The report explained: “If you’re a new graduate PhD receiving an L4 Research Scientist offer from Google, you could earn as much as $550K per year.”

The Seoul City Government in South Korea recently announced it will leverage drones and AI algorithms to monitor traffic conditions.
Key Details:
According to the Korea Herald, the city of Seoul will use drones equipped with cameras and sensors to provide real-time aerial views of traffic conditions.
This data can monitor traffic flow, identify congestion, and assess road conditions, helping traffic management centers make informed decisions.
The Seoul City Government will also apply AI algorithms to analyze data from multiple sources like traffic cameras, GPS systems, and sensors embedded in roads to have well-informed traffic management systems.
