German manufacturer Neura Robotics unveiled “4NE-1,” a humanoid robot for all areas of life.
Key Details:
“4NE-1” leverages NVIDIA’s Project GR00T: a multimodal AI system designed to equip humanoid robots with the ability to understand natural language and emulate movements by observing human actions.
Neura Robotics also uses Swarm AI: a collection of specialized AI agents working together to solve complex problems.
Swarm AI imitates how organisms amplify group intelligence by forming flocks, colonies, or swarms.
“4NE-1” can effectively process human actions to quickly learn coordination and dexterity skills to navigate, adapt, and interact with the real world.
“4NE-1” is an ideal robot companion that assists with various tasks and challenges, such as cleaning, cooking, or repairing.
Why It’s Important:
During Tesla’s 2024 Q1 Earnings Call, Elon Musk explained how humanoid robots will “ultimately be worth more than the self-driving car business.”
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said, “The next wave of AI is robotics, and one of the most exciting developments is humanoid robots.”

OpenAI is starting to roll out ChatGPT’s Advanced Voice Mode to a small group of ChatGPT Plus users.
Key Details:
ChatGPT’s Advanced Voice Mode can reason across audio, vision, and text to offer more natural human-computer interactions.
It provides real-time conversations, allows you to interrupt anytime, and senses and responds to your emotions.
During OpenAI’s Spring Update event, the company debuted this feature, which guided students through math problems, developed tailored interview questions, and deployed real-time translation in multilingual environments.
Why It’s Important:
AI models are slowly shifting away from turn-based interactions or back-and-forth exchanges in which users develop prompts and conversational chatbots respond.
Instead, AI models like ChatGPT’s Advanced Voice Mode aim to create more dynamic and realistic experiences where multiple actions occur simultaneously in rapid succession.

Partners will also receive free access to Perplexity AI’s Enterprise Pro tier along with content engagement metrics through ScalePost AI.
Initial partners include Time, Fortune, and WordPress.com, who’ll receive a “double-digital percentage” of advertisement revenue.
