📈NVIDIA’s the Most Valuable Publicly Traded Company
On Thursday, NVIDIA’s stock market value reached $3.78 trillion, making it the world’s most valuable publicly traded company.
Key Details:
The chipmaker’s stock price rose more than 6.56% over the past five days, closing at a record high of $155.02. So, what’s fueling this growth?
Everyone’s building Large Reasoning Models (LRMs) to emulate how humans plan and reason.
They achieve this by utilizing Test-Time Compute (TTC), which allocates more computing power during AI Inference: everything that happens after you enter your prompt.
TTC relies on two reasoning frameworks:
⛓️💥Chain-of-Thought (CoT) to break down complex problems into manageable sub-problems.
🦾Reinforcement Learning (RL) to mimic the “trial-and-error” process humans use to learn, where decisions that lead to desired outcomes are reinforced.
Why It’s Important:
AI Inference isn’t static anymore. With TTC, any prompt can trigger a multi-step reasoning process. That’s why NVIDIA’s winning: every reasoning step means more demand for GPUs.
Since April 2025, NVIDIA’s “market cap” (i.e., the total value of a company’s shares) has grown by roughly $1 trillion, a rally of about 37% in just a few months.

Google DeepMind just introduced “AlphaGenome,” an AI-powered tool trained on DNA to predict, design, and understand genetic sequences.
Key Details:
Our DNA contains sequences of billions of “letters,” which tell our body how to grow, heal, and function.
These sequences are a specific order of the four Nucleotides: Adenine {A}, Thymine {T}, Cytosine {C}, and Guanine {G}.
For example, a small piece of DNA might look like this: {ATCGTACG}. The order of these “letters” matters a lot. Even a minor change can impact how our body functions.
But here’s the twist: only about 2% of our DNA actually contains genes, which tell our body how to build tissues and fight infections.
For decades, the other 98% of our DNA was dismissed as “junk” because we didn’t fully understand what it did. But now, we know it’s far from useless.
It helps regulate when, where, and how our genes turn on or off. The problem? It’s incredibly hard to decipher. It’s like trying to understand a foreign language without a dictionary.
That’s where “AlphaGenome” comes in. It can read long strands of the other 98% of our DNA to understand the hidden layers of our genetic blueprint.
Why It’s Important:
Many diseases are influenced by mutations in the other 98% of our DNA. For example, a single change in a Nucleotide might reduce the expression of a gene, contributing to genetic diseases like cancer or diabetes.
Approximately 400 million individuals worldwide are affected by rare genetic diseases, representing around 5.9% of the global population. Around 80% of rare diseases have a genetic cause.
