On Wednesday, NVIDIA’s stock market value reached $5.03 trillion, solidifying it as the world’s most valuable publicly traded company. This remarkable rally comes after a series of major announcements:
Key Details:
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recently outlined an initiative to build seven supercomputers powered by more than 100,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs.
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang projects achieving over $500 billion in revenue from the chipmaker’s Blackwell Architecture and highly anticipated “Rubin CPX,” a single, super-efficient specialized computer chip that’s optimized for AI inference.
NVIDIA aims to invest over $1 billion in Nokia to develop and deploy America’s first AI-native 6G network that can think and learn in real time to offer faster wireless speeds with lower latency and better coverage.
Why It’s Important:
Since January 2025, NVIDIA’s “market cap” has grown by roughly $2.06 trillion, a gain of about 69.36% in just nine months. For context, that’s like planting a tree and growing a forest overnight. NVIDIA’s now worth 50 Nikes and 3,000 JetBlues.
“Rubin CPX” will deliver 30 PetaFLOPs of compute. That’s 30 quadrillion mathematical calculations per second! This breakthrough enables frontier AI models to process more tokens without compromising on speed or accuracy.

Zoom CEO Eric Yuan believes AI assistants and digital avatars will finally allow us to shorten our workweek.
Key Details:
Zoom recently rolled out Zoom AI Companion 3.0*, which is equipped with Agentic Skills across the entire video conferencing platform’s ecosystem. It can autonomously control all parts of a virtual meeting, from scheduling to creating an agenda and crafting tailored to-do lists.
“I think a digital avatar is essentially just an AI version of yourself, right?” Zoom CPO Smita Hashim explained. “With this approach, we won’t need to work five days a week anymore.”
Zoom plans to provide us with the ability to send a digital avatar of ourselves to virtual meetings within the next five years. The current technological bottleneck they face is seamlessly synchronizing spoken words with realistic expressions and authentic mannerisms.
Why It’s Important:
The average employee spends about 11.3 hours per week in meetings, accounting for roughly 28% of the workweek. More importantly, 72% of meetings are seen as ineffective.
These statistics highlight not only that a significant amount of time is spent in meetings, but also that much of that time is perceived as unproductive. It’s estimated that unnecessary meetings cost businesses $37 billion annually in the U.S. alone.
