Researchers at Columbia University (CU) developed “GET,” an AI model that accurately predicts the Gene Expression of any human cell.

People are leveraging Runway’s “Gen-3 Alpha” to transform videos of real murders into animated Minions and post them on TikTok. It’s a way to bypass TikTok’s Community Guidelines of removing “gory, gruesome, disturbing, or extremely violent content.”

These Minion Gore videos include executions, war footage, and workplace accidents on construction sites. A Minionfied version of the Christchurch Mosque Shootings attracted over 250,000 views.

These Minionfied videos showcase how bad actors can weaponize AI-powered video generators to trivialize horrific events, exploit human suffering, and desensitize children to violence.
