đSamsungâs $16.5 Billion Deal With Tesla
Samsung has signed a landmark $16.5 billion deal to manufacture Teslaâs cutting-edge AI6 hardware at the chipmakerâs facility in Taylor, TX.
Key Details:
The AI6 hardware is designed to power Teslaâs Robotaxi ambitions. Tesla recently rolled out an early access, invite-only trial of Robotaxi in select areas of Austin, TX. So, how does it work?
Tesla Vision utilizes a network of cameras to provide real-time video feeds of the Robotaxiâs surroundings. These real-time video feeds are processed with Computer Vision (CV) to:
Detect objects like cars, cyclists, and pedestrians.
Identify road rules like traffic lights, stop signs, and lane lines.
Estimate the distance (i.e., depth) and speed (i.e., velocity) of elements relative to the Robotaxi.
Full Self-Driving (FSD) leverages the visual data from Tesla Vision to:
Predict what might happen next (e.g., âThe cyclist might merge into your lane!â).
Generate a safe route (e.g., âChange lanes to avoid the cyclist!â).
Implement real-world driving commands (e.g.,Apply brakes, adjust the steering wheel, and signal a lane change!â).
Why Itâs Important:
Waymo relies on LiDAR, RADAR, and Ultrasonic Sensors (USS) to build detailed three-dimensional (3D) maps of surrounding environments. In contrast, Robotaxi relies solely on Tesla Vision and FSD to mimic how humans see, predict, and act on the fly.
âSamsung agreed to allow Tesla to assist in maximizing manufacturing efficiency,â said Tech billionaire Elon Musk. âIâll personally walk the assembly line to accelerate the pace of progress.â

AI RESEARCH
đAI-Powered Virtual Scientists Develop Vaccines
Researchers at Stanford Medicine (SM) have developed âThe Virtual Lab,â an innovative AI-powered platform where four specialized AI Agents collaborate to tackle complex scientific challenges.
Key Details:
âThe Virtual Labâ is built around the Principal Investigator (PI), which autonomously facilitates, coordinates, and manages medical workflows.
For example, the PI holds structured meetings to unify operational procedures, coordinate clinical activities, and track clinical outcomes.
The four specialized AI Agents consist of:
Immunologist: Proposes a scientific hypothesis related to our complex network of cells, tissues, and organs.
Scientific Critic: Evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of scientific arguments and experimental designs.
Pattern Identifier: Extracts data-driven trends from complex datasets by identifying recurring patterns.
Computational Biologist: Applies computational tools like Google DeepMindâs âAlphaFold 3â to solve biological puzzles.
It successfully created 92 nanobody candidates to fight the SARS-CoV-2 Virus, a strain of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). A nanobody is a small, artificially designed antibody that fights against various diseases.
Why Itâs Important:
How can we apply AI Agents to large, consequential tasks without losing control? âThe Virtual Labâ perfectly illustrates an approach pioneered by American engineer K. Eric Drexler called Compound AI: combining multiple AI Agents, high-quality databases, and external tools to solve more complex challenges.
In this approach, achieving Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) isnât about creating a single, all-knowing AI Agent. Instead, itâs about building a network of multiple AI Agents to work together.
PROMPT ENGINEERING TIPS
âïžWeaponize Your Discipline!
Discipline isnât about doing more; itâs about eliminating distractions to execute with ruthless clarity.
In other words, itâs the difference between reacting to the day and running the day. You must develop ways to make consistency automatic, even when youâre tired, distracted, or doubtful.
This simple prompt turns ChatGPT into your personal discipline enforcer:
Context: I want to develop unshakable self-discipline so I can execute consistently,
Clarity: but I often rely exclusively on motivation, which can fall short when things get tough, boring, or stressful.
Guidance: Can you help me develop ways to stay disciplined that align with {Insert Core Goals} and {Insert Daily Workflows} while minimizing {Insert Temptations}?
