Poetiq, a startup founded by six AI researchers, recently surpassed Google’s “Gemini 3 Deep Think” on ARC-AGI-2 at half the cost.
Key Details:
ARC-AGI-2 aims to directly address overfitting, which occurs when frontier AI models learn to memorize patterns rather than generalize knowledge. It achieves this by generating puzzles composed of square grids that alter colors and change shapes based on underlying patterns. The frontier AI models must decipher these underlying patterns to predict the correct changes.
Imagine teaching your dog to roll over, but only when you’re wearing a red shirt. He listens perfectly whenever you wear a red shirt, yet the moment you change into a blue shirt, he ignores you. That’s overfitting: your dog learned to memorize basic patterns tied to your appearance (i.e., “red shirt = roll over!”) rather than generalize knowledge (i.e., “roll over whenever told!”).
They developed the “meta-system,” which acts as an orchestrator that integrates into existing frontier AI models to oversee, verify, and improve how they analyze information, incorporate context, and draw logical conclusions.
Why It’s Important:
The “meta-system” achieved 54.0% accuracy at $30.57 per puzzle. In comparison, “Gemini 3 Deep Think” achieved 45.1% accuracy at $77.16 per puzzle.
This achievement marks the first time anyone has cracked the 50.0% accuracy barrier on ARC-AGI-2, with frontier AI models previously struggling to achieve just 5.0% accuracy a few months ago.

OpenAI recently published “The State of Enterprise AI,” which analyzes how employees are adopting AI to unlock massive productivity gains.
Key Details:
After surveying 9,000 employees across nearly 100 enterprises, they found that employees who make extensive use of AI reclaim 10 hours per workweek. For context, that’s basically like gaining an extra workday.
87% of IT workers reported faster resolution of technical issues, 85% of marketing staff reported quicker execution of brand campaigns, 75% of HR professionals reported improved workplace engagement, and 73% of software engineers reported faster code completion.
What’s even crazier is that 75% of employees can now handle work they couldn’t do before. In other words, AI isn’t only used to improve the speed and quality of work but also to enable non-technical employees to perform spreadsheet automations and tackle technical troubleshooting.
Why It’s Important:
According to BCG, enterprises that master AI deployment are experiencing 1.7x higher revenue growth and 3.6x greater three-year Total Shareholder Return (TSR). That said, the widespread adoption of AI doesn’t automatically translate to real value creation.
We shouldn’t forget about “Workslop”: AI-generated work that may boost short-term productivity but often leads to long-term revisions that require extra time to rework and refine. MIT’s Project NANDA found that despite enterprises investing about $40 billion in GenAI, 95% of corporate initiatives involving the technology failed to generate any measurable returns.
